Un-Natural Pool at La Costa Brava

A number of our adventures have taken place in the spanish Costa Brava and this is our favourite corner. Even after several visits, it still amazes us. No words can describe the mix of red rocks and the sky reflected on the water of this natural pool.

    • TIP 1

    Coordinates: 41°56'23.8"N 3°13'03.3"E

    • TIP 2

Take Carrer Cruilla de Fornells, then turn left on the path over the fishing port. Turn left again into the dark tunnel. You'll be impressed by the view once you exit the tunnel. Then go straight to the pool.

    • TIP 3

Say goodbye to chlorine, It’s a seawater pool! No chemical additives.

    • TIP 4

Just do it! Jump from the rocks into the pool. But be careful as it is not really deep

    • TIP 5

Wait for the wind to stop blowing and then look for the sky's reflection on the water. Awesome!

    • TIP 6

Bring some beers or wine. Cheers!

    • TIP 7

You will need to walk from the Aigua Blava port. You won't be able to access with any vehicle.

    • TIP 8

The roads to get to the Aigua Blava port are amazing and surrounded by nature. Enjoy riding your longboard down these hills.

    • TIP 9

If there are big swells, watch the waves crash into the pool. Beautiful!

    • TIP 10

The pool is sometimes empty. No risk no glory...

    • TIP 11

It’s a natural pool where little crabs live. Don’t hurt them!
